Jude is all about art and esthetics. Graphic quality, layout ebb and flow, writing, online improv. While the clean and classic look will win an approving nod, the quirky inspired approach will always spark a genuine and resounding "Huzzah!"
Blessed with a family background rich in all things art—photography, stage (impromptu family re-enactments of Westside Story, A Hard Day's Night and Macbeth), poetry and prose (haiku and limericks!), painting, sketching, sculpting, doodling — Jude has been known to break into spontaneous tap-dancing when thrilled by something new and creative.
A diehard gamer, Jude's campaigned in exotic lands from Britainnia to Tyria, Cantha, and Elona, and frequently locks herself in her office for days on end while playing, hurling war cries and epithets at demonspawn and intruders alike. She's currently playing Guild Wars: Nightfall and Neverwinter Nights 2. She owns a chakram and can lop the head off a salesman at fifty paces.
A card-carrying geek of long standing, Jude has dreamt she was a green Orion hellcat and had rough sex with Q. And Tech Sgt. Chen. Spike, Mal, Kai, and 286 other characters,* give or take. She can quote chapter and verse from the Complete Canonical Babylon 5 Universe—seasons 1 through 5, including the movies—and has memorized the entire Babylon File.
It's rumored she can reenact the entire Buffy/Angel/Spike storyline (complete with mythic philosophy and commentary), and with the slightest encouragement, will quote her favorite Firefly Malapropisms. She can speak Vorlon, Farscapese, Thermian, and Klingon fluently, and frequently curses in Battlestar Galactican. She owns the Crusade soundtrack. And yes, she plays it.
She's downloaded theme music from Lexx (including the entire Brigadoom soundtrack), The Dead Zone and Jeremiah. She owns sci-fi action figures. And an authentic Star Trek com-badge. She keeps the battery charged so she can push it when the need arises. She's used 'smeghead' in a sentence...and yes, she knows what it means. She wears Invader Zim bandaids.
